Toddler Day
Jacob got to participate in “Toddler Day" at Mountain View High. Heather is taking the Child Education class, so we got wrangled into going. Besides the fact that the student teacher was inept and all of the activities where not age appropriate, (sorry, but no one in their right mind would let a toddler play with liquid glue and glitter) it was a lot of fun. Jacob hung out with Heather and her friend Andrea. They played with the balloons the whole time, despite the incessant barking of the student teacher. Jacob was even kind enough to share with a few of the other kids, he just insisted they give it back right after. It was a fun activity!

Home Sweet Home
Daniel and I have found our house! After several offers and counter offers it is finally under contract! We took my parents to see it this weekend and despite the fact that it is a bit farther away from my Dad then he liked ( it is in Lehi) , he really liked it. I am so excited to have a home, especially one that I absolutely adore. I am just glad Daniel liked it and felt like it was the right house too. More info and pictures as we get closer!

Basketball!
My awesome parents got Jacob the perfect Christmas gift. They got him a "Little Tykes" basketball hoop. Because I sometimes forget how overly physical and ambitious my child is, I didn't expect him to be able to shoot the basket for some time. But to my surprise, after Daniel showed him how to do it, he was making baskets 5 minutes after assembling the hoop! He has so much fun shooting the basket. But he is not the only one; Daniel, Richie, my Dad, me, and even Heather ( who couldn't make it if she tried) plays with the basketball hoop. It is a fun family toy! Jacob is going to be a little hoopster!

Christmas!
We hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years! Daniel and I had a great Christmas day. Daniel had Christmas and the rest of the weekend off. It was nice because he works so much durring the whole Christmas season, that it was a blessing for him to get to relax and spend time with his family. Jacob loved playing with the cars he got in his stocking and tried to drink Grandma's snapple. We where lucky enough to have my grandparents from Las Vegas come up for Christmas, Jacob loved hanging out with them.
This is Jacob's "I am being sneeky, but you caught me" face. Everytime I looked away he would grab the snapple and try to open it.
