ZOO

I love the Zoo! After my last trip to the zoo, which I do not look back on fondly ( I will never go to the mayhem infested Boo at The Zoo again ) , I wanted to go and enjoy the zoo. It was great!!! The weather was excellent, not too hot so the animals where all out and about. Jacob loved seeing all the different animals, and called almost all of them a " woof woof". I can't wait to someday take him to the San Diego Zoo and Wild animal Park

Daniel thought this creepy spider was hilarious. I am so glad he finds my fears amusing.
Jacob was looking at the peacocks. The guys where strutting their stuff trying to empress the girls . Jacob loved seeing all of the feathers.
Jacob and Daniel had fun playing the the Prarie Dog exhibit.

Fun at the Park!

Daniel's side of the family got together for ice-cream at the park a week ago. It was fun for the kids to hang out and play. All of the 16 grandkids where there so we took a big picture. I am so glad Jacob is old enough to sit on the bench with his cousins; I didn’t have to stand in the back and heave him above my face so it looked like he was floating in the air. Even though it is a cute picture, next time all the kids are together, I am going to push for a professional picture at a portrait studio. Heather was hanging out with me that day, so she got to come partake of the fun festivities which included eating ice cream, chatting, and playing on the slides!! Jacob loved going down the big-kid slides with Heather.

A House Full of Crazyness

My Sister-in-law Sherrie stayed with us for a bit while they where in the process of closing on their new home. Even though it wasn't an ideal situation, it was fun hanging out and getting to know the Tattons better. Now we know each others quirks quite well! Jacob loves plaing with his cousins. Even though he and my niece Kallie are almost the same age, they have completely different personalities. It was funny to watch them interact. It was what I imagined me and my sister Angie would have been like when we where young; torturing each other one minute and playing peacefully the next. It is great having them live close by.
