Day at the farm

Jacob loves animals! We go to the farm a lot, but last week we where able to go with my friend Jocelyn and her two kids. Mirra and Jake are the same age, it is so cute to see them interact. We got some corn to feed the animals , Jacob wasn't scared of the cow at all!

That is right, Jacob is riding a horse! He was so exited, and happy. He reminded me of my cousin Brandon, he would try so hard not to smile!

After riding the small horse we went over and looked at the large Clydesdale horse. Jacob kept saying that he wanted to ride the big daddy horse, I had to explain that kids can't rid the daddy Clydesdale. Now he thinks that Dan gets to ride the giant horse.

Summer Fun!

We have had a couple crazy weeks filled with activities and family outings. Summer is so much fun! Dan got July 5th off from work, so we spent the morning hanging out at Thanksgiving Point. We went to the children's park and played in the water. Jacob had fun splashing in the water. He got a big kick out of the water that spurted out from the ground. Derek loves being outside, just like his big brother.

Happy Birthday Dinosaurs!

The museum was having a big birthday bash for the dinosaurs, they went all out with the decorations and activities.
All of the dinosaurs had party hats on, and there was a lot of fun little games and scavenger hunts for the kids ( and us) to do.
Jacob likes to touch all of the fun exhibits and learn about dinosaurs. We have yet to explain that they are all dead... I think that would break his heart.

Jacob loves the dinosaur dig area, I haven't let him play in the wet dirt area yet. It is nice to just let him sit and play in the dirt, I just wish they had comfy seats for the parents!

Happy Birthday to me!

I am turning 25! I have been thinking about how I am getting old. Which is normally a bad and depressing thing, but I am happy. I have a caring and amazing husband and two adorable boys. I live in a beautiful house and am lucky to live close to family and friends. Which makes me a truly blessed old lady! So here is to me, one quarter of a century old. Thanks to everyone in my life who has helped me and made me who I am today!
