We went to the children's park and played in the water. Jacob had fun splashing in the water. He got a big kick out of the water that spurted out from the ground. 
Derek loves being outside, just like his big brother.
Happy Birthday Dinosaurs!
The museum was having a big birthday bash for the dinosaurs, they went all out with the decorations and activities.
All of the dinosaurs had party hats on, and there was a lot of fun little games and scavenger hunts for the kids ( and us) to do. 
Jacob likes to touch all of the fun exhibits and learn about dinosaurs. We have yet to explain that they are all dead... I think that would break his heart.
Jacob loves the dinosaur dig area, I haven't let him play in the wet dirt area yet. It is nice to just let him sit and play in the dirt, I just wish they had comfy seats for the parents!
That looks like so much fun! And i think Jacob's heart will break when he finds out about how all Dino's are dead... it sure broke mine when i was little! :) jk
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you all are enjoying going to the museums...we loved to take you to places like these...Thanksgiving Point is much more fancy than we had, but kids love seeing animals, bugs, plants, living things!! Keep up the good work Mom and Dad!

It has been a lot of fun being able go let Jacob run around and learn. We still need to go to the Bean Museum with you guys this summer!
